Mrs. Sara Ryan holds a B.A. in Quantitative Methods and Computer Science from the College of St. Thomas. She has worked for 3M and local consulting firms specializing in the areas of database design and administration, taught Algebra at the Home Educators Resource Organization, works with the Summer Algebra Institute for Kids and is a substitute teacher in the White Bear School District. She gets excited about the logic and precision of geometry and algebra, and desires to help algebra and geometry students get enthused about math as they gain confidence in these new math concepts. She and her husband have home educated their three children for ten years. She has tutored at The Academy since 2001.
