Registration for Student Classes & Adult Workshops at The Academy

All NEW members must adhere to the revisions made on this Registration form and are responsible for using the REFRESH option on their computer to make sure that they are using the most recent edition.  Thank you. 

Membership Levels & Registration Dates:

  • Current YEAH & YEAH Academy members (2011-2012) - Memberships run August 1 thru July 31 and must be renewed annually; all memberships are family memberships)

1.      Must renew YEAH Academy membership for 2012-2013

a.       $45.00 level needed to enroll in classes Fall 2012 or Spring 2013

2.      April 15, 2012 (for fall classes) or November 7, 2012 (for spring classes): Register for any PSEO classes (NCU or NWC)

a.     Letter of acceptance from the college must be in YEAH files

3.      April 15, 2012 (for fall classes) or November 7, 2012 (for spring classes): PSEO at YEAH students register for any non-PSEO class at The Academy

  • NOTE: Students must be enrolled in PSEO at YEAH campus courses to be eligible for early enrollment in non-PSEO classes at The Academy.  

  • PSEO student not enrolled in PSEO at YEAH may register with other YEAH Academy members on the same date regular YEAH Academy students. 

4.      July 25, 2012 (for fall) or November 15 (for spring): non-PSEO students or students taking PSEO not on the YEAH campus may register for any class at The Academy (main Open House: July 26, 2010)

  •  NEW YEAH Academy memberships (Join for 2012-13)

1.      Does not have a current YEAH membership

2.      Must join at the YEAH level membership for 2011-12 ($15.00  level) and YEAH Academy level membership ($45.00 level) for 2012-2013 to enroll in classes for Fall 2012 or Spring 2013

a.       $15.00 YEAH membership level is needed to start the process.

  • $45.00 level YEAH Academy membership is needed to enroll in classes for Fall semester

b.      2012-13 Membership becomes official immediately for all purposes including PSEO and non-PSEO course registration.

3.      Letter of acceptance from the college - and copy of the NSR MN PSEO form - must be in YEAH files

4.     July 25, 2012 non-PSEO siblings may register for any non-PSEO classes with current members

 JOIN TODAY to receive Member Priority Registration Benefits.

           $15.00 YEAH family member level is all that is needed.

  • YEAH Academy class registration is online with all registration and all payments.  Click here for instructions for registration.

    1. Online registration provides our members with immediate confirmation of classes at the time of registration - no more waiting weeks to find out if you are in the class.

    2. Online registration provides our members with an easier way to change their student's class schedule if changes become necessary.

    3. Online registration provides our members with printable student class schedules for their easy reference and verification.

    4. Online registration provides our members with immediate payment receipt for their classes at the time of registration.

    5. Online registration provides our members with flexible payments that can be arranged with their credit card companies, if desired.

    6. Online registration provides our members with the convenience of registering 24/7 - you can register when it fits the family schedule - 10 PM, Midnight, or whenever.

    7. Online registration provides our tutors with tuition payments into their accounts, providing an auditable paper trail of payments - no lost checks.

    8. Online registration saves our members money in cumulative postage costs and rushing to the Post Office for last minute mailings.

    9. Online registration prevents critical registration forms and checks from being lost within the postal system.

    10. Online registration saves our volunteer staff hundreds of hours each year receiving, processing, and confirming class registrations and preventing filing errors.

    11. Online registration saves thousands of sheets of paper making copies of registrations, tuition payments, and filings - helping all of us to be good stewards of our resources. 

    12. Online registration prevents costly time and monetary errors that can accidentally occur with human processing errors.

  • April 15, 2012 (fall) - Registration opens for current PSEO at YEAH students only.  Details, go to PSEO at YEAH.

  • November 7, 2010 - Registration opens for PSEO at YEAH students for Spring 20113

  • All students taking PSEO classes at YEAH Academy

    • Must have been accepted by NCU and/or NWC

    • PSEO students ONLY may register for other Academy non-PSEO courses at this time.  Siblings must wait until November 15 (current fall enrollees) and December 1 (new enrollees for spring)

    • Families must be 2012-13 YEAH Academy members (YEAH sustaining members can upgrade to YEAH Academy membership by paying the additional $30.00)

    • DEADLINE: All NCU new PSEO applications must be received by NCU by November 15, 2009.

    • DEADLINE: Check NWC PSEO website www.nwc.edu/pseo for NWC deadlines.

    • Copies of college acceptance letters must be on file with YEAH before a student may register for PSEO at YEAH. 

    • Copies of MN state PSEO forms for NCU must be on file with YEAH before classes can be confirmed. YEAH will submit these originals to Aimee Robertson at NCU.

    • Copies of MN state PSEO forms for NWC must be submitted directly to NWC and not to YEAH

  • November 15, 2012: Registration opens for current YEAH Academy members currently enrolled in fall 2012 courses.

  • December 1, 2012: Registration begins for NEW YEAH Academy members who were not registered in Fall 2011 courses.

    • All YEAH Academy members may begin to register for classes at this time, providing space is available in the class and the pre-requisites, if any, have been met. (This includes NEW memberships)

# 4:  ADULT EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES for parents and teens: 

  • Adult Education Workshops (Tuesday evenings) are being scheduled for 20121-13. 

  • Adult Education Registration form.

  • Adult Registrations are due by the Saturday prior to the Monday or Tuesday class or workshop - or the Wednesday prior to a Saturday workshop or seminar.  See Adult Education Schedule. Please print out and submit one registration form per family per class.


STUDENT REGISTRATION SCHEDULE

  • July 24, 2012 Open House.  

  • July 25, 2012: Registrations begin for Fall semester.  

    • Registrations for all non-PSEO students are not be accepted prior to the July Open House: Registrations received beginning the day after the July Open House are processed by YEAH Academy member priority status (i.e. this includes details such as, but not exclusive to: YEAH Academy enrollment for past year, history & longevity of YEAH membership, age/grade of student, pre-requisites set by tutor are met, etc.) All families enrolled must be current YEAH Academy members. Watch this space for details.

  • August 1:  YEAH Academy memberships will be processed August 1st and thereafter on a first-come, first-served basis.  Go to www.ouryeah.org for YEAH & YEAH Academy membership form; form and payment available online. All Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Academy students must be YEAH Academy members. 

  • LATE Registrations: Registrations received within the week prior to the start date of classes will be assessed a $15.00 late fee per each class registration; for Fall 2012, this date is Tuesday, August 28, 2012. 

~ CLASS REGISTRATION PROCESS FOR FALL 2011 ~

  • YEAH Academy class registration is online with all registration and all payments.  

  1. STEP ONE: 

    • Know your student's class schedule and time matrix from this website www.yeahacademy.net  

    • Print out and keep handy. 

    • See Schedule link at top of this page for daily schedules for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

     

  2. STEP TWO  

    CURRENT MEMBERS: 

    1. Your family data is maintained at http://yeahacademy.classtrackonline.com.  

    2. If you need a refresher course on the operation of the on-line registration process, click on the FIRST TIME tab for detailed step by step directions from the very beginning to the end process. 

      • If you want only a class registration refresher course, click on the HELP tab to review the process.

    3. IMPORTANT: KEEP YOUR USER NAME AND PASSWORD IN A SECURE, ACCESSIBLE PLACE.

      • If your forget your password, it can be reset.  However it takes the Webmaster over 15 minutes to reset it in the best of circumstances. Please be advised that as Administrators, we designed the security of the website so that Administrators cannot see your exact username or password.  Therefore, to reset it can put the security of the entire system at risk so it can be done only if absolutely necessary and only at times of website inactivity.

      • Please be aware that at times of heavy website use (i.e. during prime registration dates), it may not be possible to reset your password for several days.  

      • DO NOT OPEN A NEW ACCOUNT.  If you start over, you will lose all your history and encounter complications resulting from not being able to duplicate your data which is already in the system. 

      • Based on the time involved to reset passwords for individual accounts, please be advised that password resets will be 1st time = Free; 2nd time within same semester = $10.00; and $25.00 each time thereafter.  Administrators are all volunteers and have only so many hours to devote to keeping this all up to date.  

      • Please keep your user name and password on file and in a secure place.     

    NEW MEMBERS: 

    1. You will need to follow the initial steps as outlined in TAB First Time to create your Family Profile in our ClassTrack On-Line Registration system.  Read all the pages of information on how to register at the on-line Registration website http://yeahacademy.classtrackonline.com  (note: there is NO "www")

    2. CRITICAL: PLEASE FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS EXACTLY.  

      • The steps have been tested and proved to work properly when followed exactly.  

      • The payment sequence is especially important.  

      • You must 

        1. pay each Tutor one at a time and 

        2. you should pay for each class as you Register.  

      • DO NOT ATTEMPT to Register all the classes and then pay.  

        1. If registering for the same Tutor for more than one class, you must register for each class separately.  

        2. The Shopping Cart concept does not work with our Tutor Direct concept.

    3. When you log in, you will create your new Family Profile account and pay for your YEAH Academy membership ($45.00 level) if you have not already done so for 2010-11.  

      • Your account is inactive until you have paid.  

      • Click on the FIRST TIME tab for detailed step by step directions from the very beginning of the process.  

      • Once your payment is received, your account will be activated--assume that it will take the system a few hours to update once your credit card payment is received to move to Active Status.  

      • You will receive notice via email that your membership is approved and to return to Create your Student's Profiles.

    4. Creating Student's Profiles: 

      • For class registration process, click on the HELP tab to review the necessary steps to create each student's profile and how to pay for each class with each tutor.  

      • As note above PLEASE FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS EXACTLY.

  3. STEP THREE: CRITICAL: Alert your credit card company that you are going to be making Multiple Charges with Google so they do not block your account with a Fraud Alert for repeat usage at one site.  

    • If you are only Registering for one class, there is no need to alert your credit card company.  

    • NOTE: All tuition payments for a class must be Paid in Full at the time of Registration.  No partial payments can be accepted due to the complexities of the website.  

     

  4. STEP FOUR: Follow this link to the new on-line Registration Site.  (NOTE: there is no www in the address.  http://yeahacademy.classtrackonline.com
